Since you all helped bring this project to fruition, we are releasing our own version of this building design as open source materials for everyone to enjoy and we will GIVE YOU the design plans. Some things are just meant to be shared!

When we spotted this cleanly designed circular space with built-in benches and shelves, we saw its potential at 4th Street Farms as a Free Little Library. This design creates a space where community members can “take a book, leave a book,” as well as enjoy an immersive experience of reading in the garden. This space is inviting, and provides the opportunity to read and enjoy green space. We know that other communities will love it too!

Placing this Little Library at 4th Street in Weinland Park has significant community impact in areas that matter like youth connections, literacy, education, safety, creativity, and a lifetime of engagement within a revitalizing diverse neighborhood.
